i'm twenty-ish

i created this blog because i wanted a space to call my own - a platform where i can practice thinking and writing

i enjoy creating things, such as music, designs, and everything else in-between. i may not be fantastic at them but i'm more than willing to try

oh, you may be wondering about the meaning behind the name of this blog. my chinese name is 学敏, or xue min, which means fast learner [still trying to figure out if i've been living up to my name heh]. this blog is a part of me; we share a name and i would love if this space reflected some of my personality. also, i've been a fan of the minimal aesthetic and lifestyle so there's that too

it is my hope that this blog will motivate and inspire me to strive towards self-discovery and a simple, joy-filled life :)

i don't expect to be very active on here but i'll be around! so feel free to stay a while, have a look around, and maybe even say hi?
